What to check
STEP 1
Check consumer unit — confirm grid is present and all MCBs/RCDs are reset
STEP 2
Check AC combiner box connections and branch circuit wiring for loose connections
Escalate if
Grid is present and MCBs are set but MIs still show Grid Gone — branch wiring fault, investigate AC cabling
