Ground Fault Disconnect Interrupt

An internal ground fault has been detected in the DC circuit of a specific microinverter. The GFDI protection disconnected the MI as a safety measure.

STEP 1
Identify the affected MI in Enlighten. Inspect DC Q-connectors and cables at that module. Check panel frame earthing -- an unearthed frame can develop a floating DC voltage to earth
STEP 2
Test DC side insulation resistance of the affected module if accessible. Check for mechanical damage to the DC cable between module and MI
No visible cause found and fault persists after inspection -- replace DC Q-cable on affected unit and retest
