PEN Fault — Do Not Use Charger

IQ EV Charger 2 LED segments alternate blinking on/off in red — PEN (Protective Earth/Neutral) fault detected on supply. Safety shutdown.

PEN conductor fault on TN-C-S (PME) networkBroken or high-resistance combined protective earth/neutral at supply headDNO infrastructure issue
STEP 1
Do not attempt to reset or use the charger. A PEN fault is a serious supply safety issue. Disconnect charger at MCB. Inspect supply earthing arrangement and contact DNO
STEP 2
Check if other Type B RCD-protected equipment on the same supply also shows faults. This may affect the entire PME earthing arrangement at the property
Always escalate PEN faults — notify DNO and do not operate the charger until supply is confirmed safe by a qualified electrician
