STEP 1
Check the battery installation environment. IQ Battery 5P requires ambient below 46C and must not be in direct sunlight. Confirm 150mm clearance on sides and top
STEP 2
Check Enlighten for battery temperature history. If consistently near the limit, consider relocating or adding ventilation to the space
Escalate if
Battery in a suitable environment but continues to overheat -- internal cooling or cell issue, escalate to Enphase support
