THOR-116
PEN Fault Detected
THOR has detected a PEN (Protective Earth + Neutral combined) conductor fault on a TN-C-S (PME) supply. Safety shutdown. LCD shows 116.
Common causes
PEN conductor failure or high resistance on TN-C-S networkSplit neutrals at consumer unit
What to check
STEP 1
Do not reset and continue operation. A PEN fault on a PME network is a serious supply fault and a shock hazard. Notify DNO immediately
STEP 2
Check if other THOR units or other equipment on the same PME supply are also affected. This is a supply infrastructure issue, not an EVSE fault
Escalate if
Always escalate PEN faults — this is a DNO and electrical safety issue. Do not use the charger until supply is confirmed safe
