PV Voltage Too High
Input voltage from one or more PV strings exceeds the inverter maximum DC input voltage.
Common causes
Too many panels in seriesCold morning conditions increasing Voc above design valueIncorrect string design
What to check
STEP 1
Measure Voc of each string before sunrise (coldest condition). Compare to inverter max DC voltage
STEP 2
If Voc exceeds maximum, reduce string length by one panel. Recalculate using temperature coefficients for the site location
Escalate if
String voltage is within spec and fault persists — escalate
