What to check
STEP 1
Inspect all MC4 connectors and DC cable runs for burn marks or carbonisation. Check DC terminals at inverter are tight
STEP 2
Disconnect strings one at a time and retest to isolate the affected string
Escalate if
No visible damage found and fault persists after connector inspection — replace suspect cable/connector and retest
