ShineWiFi-X LED is solid green — the dongle cannot connect to the WiFi router. This is the 'stuck' fault state.
Common causes
WiFi network is 5GHz only (ShineWiFi-X requires 2.4GHz)SSID or password entered incorrectlyWiFi signal too weak at inverter locationRouter replaced — SSID/password changed
What to check
STEP 1
Check router: ensure 2.4GHz band is enabled (not disabled in favour of 5GHz-only mode). ShineWiFi-X CANNOT connect to 5GHz networks
STEP 2
Reconnect via ShinePhone app (direct pairing method): go to Plant → Add Device → ShineWiFi-X → follow pairing wizard. Or use AP mode: connect phone to dongle hotspot → browser to 192.168.10.100 → enter WiFi credentials
Escalate if
Cannot connect even with 2.4GHz confirmed and correct credentials — factory reset (hold reset button until multi-colour flash) and retry. If still failing, escalate
