DC Bus Imbalance / Asymmetry
The positive and negative rails of the DC bus are not at equal and opposite voltages, indicating bus capacitor network imbalance.
Common causes
Capacitor bank degradation (common in older units in hot locations)Asymmetric loadingInternal short circuit on one rail
What to check
STEP 1
Power cycle the inverter. Single occurrences may be transient
STEP 2
If recurring, check event log frequency. Capacitor degradation is more likely in poorly ventilated locations
Escalate if
Returns after power cycle or appears regularly -- component failure, escalate with event log
