What to check
STEP 1
Powerwall LED bar: solid green = ready/operating normally, pulsing green = actively charging, red = fault detected. No LED = no power to unit.
STEP 2
Gateway LED: solid green = online and communicating with Tesla servers, flashing green = local power but no server connection, no LED = no gateway power.
Escalate if
Red LED on Powerwall with no fault visible in Tesla app — contact Tesla: 0800 756 9960. Provide LED colour, frequency, and Powerwall model.
