Communication between hybrid inverter and battery BMS has been lost. Battery will not charge or discharge.
Common causes
Loose or damaged CAN/RS485 cable between inverter and batteryIncorrect cable routing or terminationBattery not powered on
What to check
STEP 1
Check battery is powered on. Inspect CAN/RS485 communication cable between inverter battery port and battery system — look for damage, loose connectors, or disconnected plugs.
STEP 2
Ensure cable is firmly connected at both inverter COM port and battery communication port. Disconnect and firmly reconnect.
Escalate if
Battery powered, cable confirmed intact and connected but fault persists — contact Sungrow support
