AC grid voltage exceeds upper protection threshold. Inverter disconnects. Auto-reconnects when voltage returns to normal. Displayed fault ID: 002, 003, 014, 015.
Common causes
Utility grid voltage genuinely elevatedOvervoltage protection set too lowLong or undersized AC cable causing voltage rise under export
What to check
STEP 1
Wait — inverter auto-reconnects. If recurring, measure actual grid voltage at AC terminals with calibrated multimeter.
STEP 2
If measured voltage exceeds set protection value, contact DNO/DNSP. Do not modify protection parameters without written DNO consent.
Escalate if
Fault persists after grid voltage confirmed normal and protection parameters reviewed — contact Sungrow support
