Grid voltage >20% above/below rated (ID1/ID2)Output current overload or short circuit (ID3/ID4/ID5)Damaged cable or vehicle fault (ID6)Poor input grounding (ID7)L and N reversed (ID8)TN-C-S supply voltage outside 207-253V (ID9)
What to check
STEP 1
ID1/ID2: Charger reconnects when grid returns to ±20%. Measure actual grid voltage. ID3/ID4/ID5: Stop charging, unplug cable, retry when charger returns to normal. ID6: Check cable for damage, try different vehicle, check gun head for water ingress. ID7: Check ground cable. ID8: Check L and N phase sequences. ID9: Check PEN cable. Check voltage between PME terminal and ground — should be <70V
STEP 2
ID1/ID2: If voltage consistently out of range, contact local grid operator. ID9: Close PEN Breaker after protection restores
