AFCI Fault
Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter detected arc condition in a PV string. ID1-ID16 indicate which string is affected.
Common causes
DC cable damaged or frayedPoor contact at string connectorBurn marks on terminals
What to check
STEP 1
Turn off DC switch. Inspect faulty string for cable damage, poor connector contact, or burn marks. Replace damaged cable or tighten loose connector
STEP 2
Turn DC switch back on. Clear the AFCI fault in the mySigen App. Put equipment back into operation
Escalate if
Fault persists after cable inspection — submit fault feedback via mySigen App > Support > Troubleshooting
