Inverter battery brand/type setting does not match connected battery. CAN protocol mismatch.

What to check
STEP 1
In Solis app or inverter menu: go to Battery Settings. Set battery brand correctly — Dyness or Fogstar. Each uses a different CAN protocol
STEP 2
Dyness Powerbox G2: select Dyness in battery type. Fogstar Drift 16kWh: select Pylon or check Fogstar documentation for correct Solis setting
Escalate if
Correct brand selected but comms still failing — check battery firmware version with manufacturer
