Grid Over-Voltage
Grid voltage has exceeded upper limit. Inverter disconnects to protect equipment.
Common causes
DNO voltage too high at point of connectionLong AC cable run causing voltage riseGrid voltage fluctuation
What to check
STEP 1
Measure grid voltage at inverter AC terminals with multimeter. UK nominal 230V — if consistently above 253V, this is a DNO issue
STEP 2
Check AC cable sizing and length. Voltage rise on long runs — resize cable if needed. Log voltage and time to report to DNO
Escalate if
Voltage within spec but fault persists, or voltage consistently above 253V — report to DNO and contact Solis support
