Meter Lost / Meter Communication Error
Inverter has lost communication with the generation/export meter or CT clamp.
Common causes
CT clamp not connectedCT clamp cable damaged or disconnected at meter portWrong CT clamp orientationMeter communication cable fault
What to check
STEP 1
Check CT clamp is securely fitted on the correct conductor (usually grid import cable) and cable is plugged into the correct port on the inverter
STEP 2
Confirm CT clamp arrow direction matches current flow direction. Reverse if readings are negative
Escalate if
CT clamp confirmed correct and fault persists — possible meter port hardware fault, escalate
