EP battery SOC has reached 0% and has been left without charging. Risk of permanent capacity damage.
Common causes
Extended grid outage draining batteryMinimum SOC not setBattery left disconnected from charge source for extended period
What to check
STEP 1
Connect to a charge source immediately. Force-charge via inverter if needed. Check if any EP SOC LEDs illuminate — if none light up even at full AC power, the battery may be too deeply discharged to self-recover
STEP 2
The EP series has a 7-day deep discharge limit — if left at 0% for >7 days, permanent capacity loss occurs. Document the timeline for warranty assessment
Escalate if
Battery will not accept charge after 4 hours connected to charge source — deep discharge damage, escalate for warranty assessment
