BMS detected significant voltage difference between cells. Balancing in progress or balance fault.
Common causes
Normal end-of-charge balancing (temporary)Degraded or failed cellExtended operation without full charge cycle
What to check
STEP 1
If temporary: allow a full charge cycle -- balancing completes at top of charge
STEP 2
Check app -- if balancing flag is shown without a fault, this is normal behaviour
Escalate if
Cell imbalance fault persists after 3 full charge cycles -- contact Anker support
