CT / Smart Meter Fault (IE 37)

CT clamp or smart meter fault -- inverter cannot read grid import/export.

Common causes

CT on wrong cable (must be L only)CT arrow pointing wrong wayCT cable disconnectedCT cable run too long (over 100m)

What to check

STEP 1

Check CT is on L wire only, arrow pointing toward grid. Check CT connection at inverter (CT1_1 = Pin 1, CT1_2 = Pin 8). LCD > Menu > Meter/CT Check.

Escalate if

CT placement and wiring confirmed correct but Meter Fault persists
